The Jacques de Champlain Foundation (the “Foundation”) Privacy Policy describes the practices for managing the personal information of users of the accesdea.com website as well as the measures taken by the Foundation to protect the confidentiality.   • Name, email, and phone number of the owner and/or the person submitting a request for one or more Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) under the Jacques de Champlain Foundation’s Access AED program.

The Foundation may use your personal information, among others, for the following reasons:

  • To contact you regarding a request submitted under the Access AED program;
  • To register an AED in the provincial AED registry;
  • For any other purpose permitted or required by law.

The collection, use and disclosure of personal information are carried out in accordance with this Privacy Policy and exclusively for the purposes specified therein. The Foundation pledges not to use or disclose this personal information for purposes other than those for which it was collected, unless the person concerned consents thereto or the law requires it.

Personal information displayed, used or disclosed through a Twitter page, Facebook page, LinkedIn page or any other social media or networking site is subject to the privacy policy of those sites and not that of the Foundation. We recommend that users review the privacy statements of all sites operated by third parties in order to understand the procedures and security measures in place regarding the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information.

5. Cookies

During your visit to the accesdea.com website, the Foundation may use cookies to record certain visitor behaviour, such as the number of visits and duration of visits.
